Reading and navigating the site
SaudiRail.com is designed for use on desktop and mobile screens, with keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus states, descriptive links, and semantic page headings. A skip link at the beginning of each page moves directly to the main content.
The mobile menu is operated by a labeled button that reports whether it is expanded. It can be closed with the Escape key. The frequently asked questions use native expandable sections, and the main content remains available without JavaScript.
Images and diagrams
Featured images have descriptive alternative text and explicit dimensions. The retro artwork is decorative editorial illustration, not a source of operational map or timetable information. The passenger corridor schematic is also represented in readable text through ordered station lists.
Do not rely on text embedded in a poster for journey planning. The relevant station names and planning information appear in the page content, with links to official operator sources.
Display preferences
The layout adapts to narrower screens and enlarged text. Motion effects are reduced for visitors whose browser preference requests reduced motion. Printed guides use a simplified layout that removes navigation and decorative imagery where appropriate.
Assistance with travel
Website accessibility and travel assistance are different matters. For station assistance, wheelchair spaces, boarding support, or other travel arrangements, contact the relevant railway before travel through its official channel. This website cannot arrange those services or confirm an individual booking.
Report a barrier
Email [email protected] with the page address, the action you were attempting, and the browser or assistive technology involved where relevant. Do not include passwords or booking documents. The contact page explains other useful details for a website inquiry.
